Welcome!

First of all, welcome to my site. You've probably come here by accident, but while you're here, take a look around. Perhaps you'll find something interesting? This site is like a box of chocolates... you never know what you gonna get :) (sorry Forrest).

Circuit breaker article added - 27/03/2009

After a long time of inactivity, a new article on implementing circuit breakers with Spring AOP.

RCP article added - 02/06/2008

Long time no update, but I've added an article on creating binders in Spring RCP. Enjoy.

New site layout - 09/01/2008

It was about time I started to put some new stuff on the website. My site sources, however, got completely lost in my last computer swap. Therefor I have to build my site from scratch again. Sorry for the lack of updates, but life has been busy for me.

Small update - 17/05/2007

Good morning everybody! Just a small update to inform you kind people that there is a new article available on JPA and Hibernate. I'm trying to sell the technology to everyone I know, so writing an article seemed the next logical step. Be sure to read it, and if you have suggestions, don't hesitate and let me know about your ideas. On a lighter note: all spelling and grammatical errors on the front page were found and corrected. All thanks to Farrah!

Crossed over to Ubuntu - 04/05/2007

Yes, it has been a while since my last update, but have no fear, for I have returned. Due to the ever present problems with Windows and Microsoft related ****, I recently crossed over the Linux side completely. However, completely is not entirely true. Although Linux has Wine and such, programs like the new Creative Suite from Adobe are better run on a Windows system. So there is again a small corner on my hard-drive occupied by Windows. Usage however is minimal (only when I'm photoshopping, I just can't cope with The Gimp). Games you say? For that I discovered Cedega. All my favorite games now run on Linux, so no problems there. However I'm considering leaving my Linux system clean for professional purposes and use Windows for play :). Meanwhile, Maven has a new release, with (again) some quirks. This time it's the dependency path resolving problem again. But there a workaround as usual, so no biggie.

Complete data loss - 08/04/2007

For those who have already visited my site in the past, sorry for the lack of content. Murphy caught up to me, and the day of my planned backup, my pc ceased to function. Result: complete data loss. Luckily, I had uploaded some content to my site (hidden from view, obviously), so not all was lost. Sometimes being a bit paranoid pays off :). On the bright side, however: I finally bought a car! Still have to wait 8 to 10 weeks until I get to ride it, but it's worth the wait. I can't wait to leave those dreaded train trips behind me.
